Cornborough Coombe, North Devon - Location
Cornborough Coombe, formally named "Orchard" on the map above, nestles in the countryside close to the North Devon coast between Westward Ho! and the small village of Abbotsham (albeit large enough for a decent pub and post office). It is about 90 minutes drive from Junction 27 on the M5.
The nearest town with all main banks, supermarkets and other facilities is the historic port of Bideford – about a 5-minute drive, where an ice cream from the Hockings van at one end of the Quay is compulsory. Day trips to Lundy Island sail from Bideford.
